There is a lot of credible information that casts doubt on the official story of the origin of Covid-19.
Starting with the big one, there were antibodies to Covid-19 revealed in Italy months before the Wuhan outbreak. The data isn’t exactly solid, but it comes from credible sources who acknowledge their provisional status, and that’s huge if it’s true.
On another front, there was an explosion and fire in virology Research Institute in Novosibirsk in September 2019, for example, a James Bond-type figure could lead to destruction of evidence or sabotage. It wasn’t just any old institute of virology either, but an infamous one Vector Institutewhich was located in the center of Soviet biological weapons program.
Recommended reading if you want to know how terrible Soviet biological weapons were.
September 2019. The dates are, to say the least, very curious.
Wuhan itself is home to Wuhan Institute of Virologyhome to the world’s most impressive collection of bat coronaviruses, and a distinguished scientist who specializes in them, affectionately known as bat woman. You can’t make it up.
Batman disappeared within months of the outbreak, prompting rumors of her defection. Rather, it was the usual “rapid re-education and training in PLA dungeon loyalty guarantees” that happens to prominent Chinese nationals in high-stakes situations with alarming regularity. Jack Ma could talk. There is nothing to see here.
Getting better. The institute is engaged in gain-of-function research, which means genetically enhancing wild viruses to increase their infectivity and/or lethality – a fascinating, fascinating topic. The institute has stored and worked with the closest known natural relative of SARS-CoV2, a virus known since 2013 that shares 96.2% of its genetic information with SARS-CoV2. It is not so difficult to suspect that SARS-CoV2 may be an artificially expanded variant of a wild virus.
Rumor has it (or maybe American propaganda, who knows about these things) that several employees The institute became ill with symptoms similar to Covid, on the eve of the outbreak in Wuhan. Or maybe they just had the flu and the Trump administration took the opportunity to make China look bad. Not that China needs help with this.
At the very least, it would be a great coincidence if SARS-CoV2 just appeared in a wet market in the same city that houses China’s largest virology institute, which specifically studies bat coronaviruses and conducts enhancement experiments on them.
A very big coincidence.
There are more chin-scratching things.
China waited a year to let international inspectors into the Institute, who by then would have been able to uncover the real shit, even if the Institute had a full December 2019 zombie apocalypse scenario. So the result is so much toilet paper and several first world governments have expressed their diplomatically worded but unequivocal view that the WHO the Wuhan inspection was a charade.
The Washington Post (whose motto “democracy dies in darkness” should be understood as an aspiration) described the visit as “experts debunk the marginal theory”, it’s such an over-the-top, lady-protests-too-many-chain-of-manipulative-charms, such a clumsy crude attempt at low-skill, high-effort epistemic violence that the reasonable conclusion is that the “expertly” “debunked” “fringe” theory is probably correct.
The virus has unusual properties, and it is better prepared for infection humans than any other species, which is pretty amazing for wild bats/lizards/any other virus.
If a similar functionality – binding to the ACE2 protein – can be attached to any virus, Covid-19 would be an ideal low-risk rehearsal for studying the spread and institutional response around the world. This would allow a hypothetical bioterrorist to simulate what would happen if he released one of the suitably nasty natural or enhanced viruses, such as Ebola, HIV, or other meme bioweapons that might actually exist, onto the ice.
We’ll never know for sure, but the story of Covid-19 eating a bat seems unlikely. If you believe that, I have a stockpile of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq to sell you.
The official version is bullshit in every way.
You have to be an NPC to believe that, and you have to be an NPC to believe the current infection numbers in China. Four cases a day in a country of one and a half billion people, open to international travel, of a disease with frequent asymptomatic but infectious cases? Not possible unless China has effective drugs or a vaccine that they somehow invisibly inject into the entire population, which of course is unlikely, and I only imagine it as a less absurd alternative to China having four cases a day. And it’s not like they could cover up an ongoing epidemic of millions of people. There doesn’t seem to be a good explanation for the numbers and I welcome your theories.
There are many questions. Was Covid-19 linked to the explosion at the Russian Institute of Virology in September 2019? Or was it just a coincidence? Are secret joint Chinese-Russian biological weapons research being conducted? Has the virus escaped from a laboratory in Wuhan? Did Italy have Covid-19 before Wuhan?
I know it’s not easy to fit all of this information into one coherent narrative.
When Covid-19 raged in Italy back in the summer-autumn of 2019, it could not have been due to a leak from a laboratory in Wuhan in December, nor due to a September explosion in Russia.
If SARS-CoV2 came from Russia, it could not have come from Wuhan at the same time, unless the two countries are secretly working together on man-made pathogens oooo Shiite nonononono.
There are several ways to put the pieces together, we don’t even have all the pieces and we don’t know what we don’t know. However, the parts we have already cast serious doubt on the official narrative.
For the sake of speculation, here are two scenarios:
A very likely scenario, which, in my opinion, happened: there was an accident at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, possibly involving an artificially enhanced virus. In the critical weeks that followed, when the pandemic could have been prevented, the Communist Party decided instead to try an idiotic cover up. As soon as it became clear that the virus was going to spread, the media launched a psychology of horrific images of Chinese soldiers welding people in apartment buildings and people collapsing in the streets, which was theater for Western audiences to scare Western governments into overreacting, destroying their economies and discrediting their institutions.
(If you’re not sure why something was done, look at the result and assume it was intended.)
The probable axis of spread to Europe was via slave labor… um, migrant workers funny in chinese… um sewing industries in northern Italy, possibly via the city of Wenzhou, whose extensive ties to Iran may also explain why Iran was another early hotspot for Covid-19.
A very speculative scenario that would make a good James Bond movie: A joint Sino-Russian bioweapons project working with a wild virus discovered in China in 2013 that killed several miners and using Russian bioweapons expertise was close to creating a highly dangerous pathogen, or may already have one. In response, Western intelligence blew up a Novosibirsk lab, destroying half the project, and released SARS-CoV2—a less dangerous variant of the speculative superpathogen—into Wuhan, blaming and compromising the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which housed the Chinese part of the project. The resulting pandemic prompts the world’s population to vaccinate against SARS-CoV2, providing cross-immunity against a closely related superpathogen sitting in a freezer in Russia and/or China. Benign Intentional Release.
Or maybe Western intelligence wasn’t involved, and in the spirit of comic book villains stabbing each other in the back, the Chinese blew up a Russian lab to have a monopoly on the virus, and the Russians, having backed the virus elsewhere, retaliated by releasing it in Wuhan.
This speculative scenario would explain why Russian troll farms continue to spew out unprecedented amounts of anti-vaccination disinformation. They are very angry that the world will be largely immune to their biological weapons.
Oh, and Russia had the first vaccine. Because maybe they had it before the world knew about the virus.
Moreover, the Russian Sputnik vaccine was found to have different formulations in different markets, and they recently sold a batch of hundreds of thousands of doses to the Slovaks. the composition did not meet the specification. It could literally be anything. When the Slovaks requested more information, the Russians withdrew the party.
“If you want to know what’s in it, we’ll take it.” Does that give you confidence?
So in this scenario, the Russians vaccinate their own population (and possibly friendly countries) with the real vaccine, sell everyone else a lie or worse, and then release the virus – SARS-CoV2 or the big one – in the “near abroad”. Central and Eastern Europe is becoming easy prey. No one else is affected because no one is crazy enough to even consider using Sputnik.
Indeed, there were governments in the region suspiciously inepteven by their normal standards, in the search for Western vaccines, or perhaps they are deliberately slowing down to make room for the Russian PR Sputnik, against the overwhelming will of the population.
Perhaps this is not the only Russian offensive for which it must make room.
These are cobwebbed threads of speculation with few hard facts, but they are 110% consistent with the Russian modus operandi.
Shit, get vaccinated with something western.
Okay, this spy novel is speculative and presented more for entertainment purposes, but a leak from the lab is very likely. The reason the lab leak theory went down the drain was simply because it was endorsed by Donald Trump, which was enough to spark a backlash against it.
And of course, Chinese influence and money quickly worked to change the narrative, including through the WHO, for which (…ahem) the pandemic has been a reputational nightmare.
“A weird bat virus just happened to show up in a town with a weird bat virus lab doing secret bioweapons research, and the two things aren’t related” has always been a valid conspiracy theory. This is an insult to people’s intelligence.
China did not release SARS-CoV2 on purpose, but they quickly and skillfully took advantage of the situation when it came out. They acted through political proxies to maximize the economic damage from Covid-19 in the countries of interest, preparing to fill the vacuum with economic colonization… um, Chinese investmentsold defective medical equipment at inflated prices, sometimes to countries that were weeks in advance gave China’s high-quality free medical equipment probably ordered the WHO to downplay the pandemic, refuse to call it a pandemic for an absurdly long time and spread anti-mask disinformation when the virus was just starting to spread worldwide and could still be stopped with banal precautions (or maybe WHO is being stupid) and everyone around was making the most of the pandemic that caused them (at best) negligence – globally bioterrorism by inaction and then bloodthirsty opportunism.
