However, some phrases reveal who you really care about. Listen carefully to what people say and discover manipulative phrases this feeling is so important to this discovery. Here are some phrases to look out for.

1. “I don’t have time for that.”

Hey, some people say this because they are very busy, but they usually find time to discuss things later. But when the person in question uses this phrase along with many other inconsistencies, it is red flag. This is an indicator of someone who doesn’t care about you.

They don’t have time to care because they don’t care anyway. Your emotional needs are not important, especially if it does not benefit them.

I practiced saying something different to people who were struggling with something. Yes, as humans we often go through similar situations, but we should never pretend to know what another person is feeling. We don’t do that.

Someone who doesn’t care about you will constantly say this. If you have chronic pain, they will say:

“Yes, my back hurts sometimes too. I understand.”

This is true even for those who do NOT suffer from chronic pain. If you say so you are depressedthey can say “Yeah, I get bored too”. Do you understand what I mean?

3. “Calm down.”

People who are upset can’t calm down just because you tell them to. Someone who doesn’t care about you will quickly say this short phrase to avoid deepening your crisis.

True friends who care about you will listen and absorb what you’re struggling with so they can better understand how to help you so you can find peace. A proverb “calm down” does absolutely nothing but make someone feel more stressed. If you care, just be present, listen, and choose your words patiently.

4. “Don’t worry about it.”

It’s also a disturbing thing, and it’s like saying, “Calm down.” Sometimes people just don’t understand when they say the wrong thing. Yes, some people mean well. However, some throw this statement out to minimize any real effort.

It’s just their way of being mean without consequences because they don’t care how it affects you. All they care about is being able to say whatever they want and not being held accountable for their words or actions.

6. “I think you’ve grieved enough.”

There are several variations of this. For example, sometimes they may say

“I think you’ve cried enough,” or “You’re being too dramatic.”

All of these statements mean the same thing: your feelings don’t matter to them. Someone who doesn’t care will use phrases like these to get you to stop talking about yourself or the situation that caused you pain. The simple reason: they don’t care and they have better things to think about while they’re spinning around.

Let me be clear: your feelings are important and there is no time limit on feeling what you need to feel to heal.

Are you with someone who doesn’t care about you?

People who don’t care about you also have other indicators that stand out. When you try to explain yourself, they ignore it. People who don’t care aren’t interested in truth or justice because they really don’t like you; some even hate you.

They will drag you into long arguments with no resolution, wasting your time and making you feel even worse than before. It’s just different a form of manipulation.

The first step in dealing with this type of person is to recognize them for who they are. Then you can let them know that you see these behaviors for what they are. You can only fight by knowing your enemy. You can heal only by understanding the intentions of the enemy and your own truth.

You know who you are, so don’t listen to those who don’t really care about you. I’m sure others don’t care. Try to gravitate towards the positive aspects of your life and it will help a lot.
