6 confusing feelings you get when someone isn’t right for you


You know when someone isn’t right for you. Your mind may not automatically understand, but your body will be sending signals that things are not as they should be.

It’s not always obvious when someone isn’t right for you. Sometimes it’s about vague feelings that arise from time to time. Maybe you feel unheard or just uncomfortable around them. Whatever you are going through should not be ignored. It is important to pay close attention to these feelings.

Knowing when someone isn’t right for you

There are many different sensations when your body and The universe is trying to tell you that someone is not right for you. For example, the atmosphere may literally look different, as if it is thicker and darker.

People who are not suitable for each other do not wish each other well. Sometimes they think selfishly, refuse to communicate and make excuses for such behavior. While your mind may shrug it off and temporary mood swings etc, your body will know when something more serious is going on.

Let’s take a look at some of the vague feelings you might have when someone isn’t right for you.

1. A sense of isolation

Do you feel that your partner can be isolate you from friends and family? If so, maybe you should think about it and talk to your significant other. Maybe they’re not consciously isolating you, but you still have this weird feeling. And it is quite possible that this feeling makes you understand that this person is not right for you.

And it’s true: if you’re pulled away from others because of jealousy, insecurities, or other issues they have, then this relationship probably isn’t for you.

2. Mental feelings

Your intuition will always kick in and let you know when something is wrong. It’s literally a sick feeling in the stomach that serves as a warning signal. It is important that pay attention to your intuition and notice when it happens and how often it happens around your partner. This could be a warning sign that they are not the same.

3. Their smell bothers you

Your body is so tuned into what’s good and what’s not. He will react to things that do not suit him. If a person’s natural odor is bothersome, it could be a sign that someone is not right for you. Yes, it’s true, smells can warn of problems other than physical.

There is a theory that smells can reveal someone’s immune response and whether or not they are compatible with you. It is designed for survival.

4. Unresolved resentment

When someone isn’t right for you, feelings of unresolved resentment can arise. This can happen after an argument or quarrel. You should pay close attention to this.

In a healthy relationship, couples strive to resolve differences fairly. But in unhealthy relationships, this usually doesn’t happen, and resentment builds. Resentment is one of the strongest vague feelings that a person is not right for you.

5. Feeling of power imbalance

U healthy relationshipsthere must be a balance between you. Neither of you should try to control the other. But sometimes you can feel a strange power imbalance, especially when your partner forces you to do something or act a certain way.

This is a big red flag and you should heed this warning. Maybe you’re not with the person you’re supposed to be with. They may not be right for you; in fact, if they are secretly controlling you, then they are definitely not someone you want to spend your life with.

6. Lack of communication

If you’re not using healthy communication, your body will let you know. Lack of communication can make you sick, even physically, because when you try to express your concerns, your partner doesn’t take them seriously.

Your entire system will scream that something is terribly wrong. You know it and feel it. But because you want the relationship to work so badly, you try to ignore it. But the feeling really doesn’t go away.

You’ll know when someone isn’t right for you

No matter how hard you try to sweep these feelings and metrics under the rug, they will be noticed. As I mentioned above, you may even become physically ill because of resentment and anger towards your partner.

Love and healthy relationships are not like that. And maybe you’ve been through so much unhealthy relationship that you don’t know what a healthy relationship is. This is the most unfortunate thing.

But trust me, healthy relationships are not like that. In a good relationship there is communication, a sense of ease and overall good mental health. Yes, we all have our arguments and disagreements, but there is a difference between fulfillment and toxicity.

And since learning is a lifelong process, you shouldn’t beat yourself up if you’ve had a toxic situation or two, or even a few. It is not your fault that someone mistreats you. But it is important to know what is normal and what is not normal when it comes to relationships.
